The Perfect Birthday Gift

Hi everyone,

Happy Monday!

I hope you all had a nice weekend:).

I celebrated my 39th birthday on Friday.

I took a drive with 2 of my best guys(my hubby was working)

& my niece to the North Fork of Long Island,

one of my favorite places on earth.

I had my heart set on a dresser I saw at

White Flower Farmhouse.

So crazy to get this excited over a drive

to the country to pick up an OLD dresser.

But I was.

It was the perfect birthday gift.

 Isn't it beautiful?

Rustic, shabby, beachy & simple.

I love the sides, the wood detailing is just lovely.

And it has casters!

They are very, very old & one is broken but that's ok,

it gives character.

The rest of my birthday was equally special.

 My husband & my boys took care of dinner(take out:))

&

went to my favorite bakery

to get some vocal inspiration.

We spent the night on my front porch

taking in the sounds & sights of summer.

Talking, laughing & playing.

I really couldn't have asked for more.

It was perfect!
