A Walk Over The Brooklyn Bridge & One Beautiful View

Happy Monday!
I hope everyone had a great weekend.
The weekends seem to fly by, don't they?
I can't even believe that September is around the corner.

Last week while my niece & nephew were up for a visit,
we(most of our family) took a trip to Brooklyn.
The idea was to have dinner under the bridge, a little ice cream & walk the
Brooklyn Bridge over to Manhattan.

In all my life(39 years) I have never seen the city from this point of view.

It was breathtaking, absolutely beautiful, inspiring
and deeply emotional.

They say a picture is worth a thousand words,
so I will let these images speak for themselves.

I also wanted to give a huge thank you to
Kadee at Kadee Willow.
She was kind enough to pass along
The Liebster Award to my blog last week.

Have a wonderful week!

  2. Wow! I've only seen it in films and photos, and it is amazing how big and majestic everything looks, and at the same time so homey with the cobblestone and the greenery. Love it! Seems you had a great time there =) xo Anja

  5. We are both lucky enough to live close to an amazing city. I've been wanting to take my girls across the bridge - your photos make me want to do it today (in fact, we are headed into the city this morning - maybe Natural History museum).
    Your photos are stunning!
