DIY Gallery Wall

I LOVE MDF!
There, I said it!

I have been in love,
with this material for about....7 years now.
It all began when I was living in Colorado and I became a stay at home mom.
Money was tight & I was VERY bored with the store bought art out there.
So I began making art from MDF & eventually began selling it on etsy.

They say
"necessity is the mother of invention."
It is true, it sometimes forces you to think outside the box.
Which is a good thing:)!

Like I have said before,
I really do try to wait until inspiration hits to start a project.
Even though it bothers me to see things unfinished,
I would rather wait & enjoy the process than rush through it
&
not be happy.

So my blank, bare & boring hallway walls finally
got a face lift.
Thanks to MDF, some inspiration, creativity and
a modest budget of $36, yup 36!
I was able to create this cute, fun & unique gallery wall of my boys.

This project was easy,
the hardest part was cutting the wood!
The next post will be a full tutorial.

have a great day:)!

  2. Hi Emily,
Thanks, no I didn't make it, I bought it at White Flower Farmhouse. They are attached with hooks.
