Father's Day

I would like to start by wishing all those dads out there a

 Happy Father's Day!!!!

Yesterday,

as my husband  John
celebrated his Father's Day morning in bed,

opening gifts made by the boys I was reminded of

something important.

Children don't care

(nor will they remember)

 how well landscaped the lawn is

  how green the grass is

 how clean the house is

 how many projects get done around the house

or

if the house is perfectly decorated.

What they do care about 

(& will remember for years to come)

is the fun they get to have with us,

those moments we make them laugh

and those "great days" we get to share with them.

 

Yesterday, was one of those great days.
